A practicing psychotherapist, Benjamin B. Conley is licensed in Florida as a Marriage and Family Therapist, and has had extensive experience in teaching and supervision of individual and group psychotherapists, marriage and family therapists, clergy, and other mental health professionals.

He is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, Imago Relationships International, a Level II member of EMDR and EMDRIA, and has trained in TA/Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Psychosinthesis, Hypnosis, Psychoanalytic Therapy, and sex therapy.

After completing his three year clinical residency at the Blanton-Peale Graduate Institute in New York City in 1965, he co-founded the Foundation for Religion and Mental Health in metropolitan New York in 1968, providing community counseling services and clinical training for mental health professionals.

He is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church , and is a Diplomate with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.

Conley also served for three years as director of an inservice training program for medical and clerical staff at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute in New York City and serves as a consultant for small business development.

In 1987 he moved to Fort Lauderdale , Florida , with his wife , Rena, and his son, Ryan. He has a private practice of marriage and family counseling and psychotherapy in offices he shares with Rena, a licensed psychologist. He specializes in couple counseling and individual therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma and phobias.
